Been doing some research on the choices (might be missing others):
    At-the-Helm
    CaliRaised
    Total Chaos

Functionally - they all do the exact same thing right? I mean CaliRaised has a few more holes and can be used as a radio bracket, ATH has a nice built in bottle opener and radio bracket and allows use of factory tie down point, TC is a bit more low profile but still has some mounting points but no factory mounting point but probably the least space eating (not that any are huge) but also uses the top hole where the others dont which some people appreciate for their CB mounts. Also the TC looks to be the only one that doesnt interfere (lift) the stock bed mat.

Secondary question is I want to mod the stiffener to function with my Bed Extender which I have seen both threads where one poster used the TC and the Amp (I have the HD) and the other used the stock extender and the ATH and fabbed up some brackets (really nice work). Any reason I should look at one vs the other?

I need a set of stiffeners but not sure the differences, be interested to see what everyone else thinks.

Personally liked the look of TC's but I have a cap and am not sure if they would affect it

    @CaliRaisedLed
    Anyone from TC?

    Hello,

Ours will have no interference with your cap. If you have any questions please let us know.

Don't forget Bentrodder's bed supports, which are full height like TC.

Caliraided has one extra mounting bolt for even more strenght. This was a huge feature that sold me on thiers.

pulled the trigger, Cali Bed Stiffeners also got 15% off from their spin the wheel on heir site. 97.00 USD which includes shipping. Not bad for this Canuck

I really want to keep as much of the bed opening width as possible, so who makes the lowest profile ones? I know they need the extra support to be stiff, but I dont need the mounting eyes that stick out further on many of the bed stiffener models.

@CaliRaisedLed I've already pulled the trigger on both the stiffeners and a new OEM bed mat. Do you anticipate any issues with this combination? Both haven't arrived yet and now i'm nervous :fingerscrossed:

I have the caliraised bed stiffeners and OEM bed mat. What exactly are you nervous about? The bed mat is rubber so it just barely lays on the bed stiffeners if that’s what is worrying you. I can take a pic if you like. Just let me know!

You mentioned Bed Extender. I have the Amp Research and I'm confident it wouldn't work with bed stiffeners.

I was worried that the mat would overlap on the stiffener and make it weird was all. Yeah, if you wouldn’t mind posting a pic that would awesome, just so I know what I’ll be working with.
    Thanks bro!

You won't have any issues with our stiffeners and a bed mat. We have many customers running them together. Thanks for choosing us!

Ours still allow for a piece of plywood to fit in. Or pallets or anything else you need to load in the bed with no interference!

Nope, not bad at all! If you really wanted to you could cut a slit or notch in the bed mat to make it lay perfectly flat. You definitely don't need to though!

i have the TC ones with a OE bed mat and an Encore Tonneau. all is well over here and works together perfectly.

i also have the AMP extender and plan to mount it one day with the spacers for the mount coming off the stiffeners. that is a simple and great solution.
