Mod day at Gray Man Fab in Chester on the 6th. I've got shackle hangers, uniballs, mudflaps, OBA, and an aux battery to install. We'll see how far down that list I get. Come by and hang out or do some stuff on your trucks.

We've got plenty of parking, but it's a rough section of town...

What are you doing with mudflaps, I removed mine because of rubbing issues, but would really like to get something in there.

I have a set of rockblox to fix. i tore one off... and a stock one for the rear to replace too.

you have to cut into the fender flair and smash the pinch weld to make room for mud flaps.

In AF. Your truck priority #1, but if theres time, I NEED to get my cam tab gussets on. They're ugly. You know where the OBA and aux battery are going? I like electrical stuffs.

    Thanks! In AF

OBA is going in the drivers side bed cubby. I have the bracket, compressor, and most of the shit for the wiring harness. I also have a small compressor to rip apart for the tank.

Batteries are going behind the back seat. I think I have everything for that install. That would be a huge help if we can get that done, then I can start putting the aux electrical back together and have lights...

Cam tab gussets are easy, as long as the alignment bolts aren't seized. We can certainly get them put together, if not installed.

I think I am on the other side of the state. If you were in Pittsburgh i would for sure. I keep hearing about the pinch weld. Can you provide pics of the fender flare trim and the pinch weld smash? I still have rubbing issues when turning into a driveway occasionally. That is without mudflaps on the front at all. I've heard of the rockblox a few times, but was looking at plasticolor for a cheap flexible replacement.

https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/arcticelfs-gray-man-build.384189/ Take a look at the second post in that thread, I show the pinch weld and the trim to the fender flare. The rub lines from the OEM mud flap are basically your cut line.

Once you peel up the plastic fenderwell liner on the back, you'll see the pinch weld, just beat the hell out of it with a hammer to bend it over flat, then cover it with silicone to ensure no leaks into the cab, and paint it over with undercoating or bed liner to prevent rust.

Once you've hammered the pinch weld flat you have to stuff the plastic fender liner back too, that's what you're probably rubbing on.

I ran a set of "universal" rubber mudflaps for a while, they work, and are cheap. Eventually they got torn off too many times and damaged.
