This is the fake news troll internet era my friend. People need to establish credibility with communities if they want to be treated as part of it, and setting up an account with bogus names is not the way to do it.

It’s the internet though, right? How does their username effect you in real life? Yours, for example is “friendlywithbears”

No affect on me personally, and I don't mean to start anything by my comment.

I'm just pointing out that, especially in this particular forum which gets a lot of trash, a new member who comes in with a post that reiterates common negativity, without any other introduction to the community, and with a seemingly bogus username and name, should naturally be met with some skepticism.

I understand your point, and truthfully I originally nuked this thread but restored it after giving it some thought from another staff member.
There’s random posts like this daily. Hey, at least this one isn’t asking what size tires he can do on stock suspension. :annoyed:

Now I wish my name was more obscene.

Welcome @Sumdood . Give it time. I drive some of the biggest cities in the North East without issue of merging or keeping up.

Turn off traction control by pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds, that turns off the nannies and gives you better response time. Annoying, but I just can't drive smoothly with the nannies on in both my MT Taco and my wifes 2016 4runner so I've made it a habit after starting the truck.

The whole "turn off traction control" fad that's going around is just dangerous. If you get in rain or any adverse conditions you're risking an accident for slightly different throttle mapping.

OP, if you're a real person and end up reading this thread, you should check out OVTune. It's the only thing out right now that actually changes the throttle response in the truck. There are several threads including reviews from people using it if you search for it.

Meh. First vehicle with traction control, managed without it in many vehicles.

Oh come on. Nobody is making you read that thread that asks the same question that’s been answered. It’s so simple to skip it or move onto the next thread. Or you can be a productive contributor and link similar threads or outright answer the question. If you fee so strongly that it’s just a troll new member, hit the report button.

You do realize that these threads have an irresistible aura Ouija board kind of vibe that, before you know it, caused words to flow from fingertips without concious thought. Most don't even know or remember they responded. Bad juju these threads. Makes good people go bad...
