    If your not big on fitness, you can still lose weight by walking. Try getting your heart rate up. Maybe up hill walks?

    From what I have read, loosing too much weight fast can cause damage to your overall health.

    Have you consulted with a doctor about this?

    There is a reason why weight loss is a multi million dollar "business"- many of the fad diets and weight loss programs only work temporarily.

    But good luck anyway, and hope you succeed.

    The answer, because it's faster to drink than it is to eat. I would also guess the body would break it down faster since its no longer solid.

    But whats you goal right now? To lose weight or be a builder? I only ask because that questions a bit out of place.

    Soups. Water. Eat just until you're satisfied. Cardio.

    GF is a Registered Dietitian, weight loss is simple math. calories out vs calories in. want to lose 1 lb? you need to burn 3500 calories. if you burn 1000 more calories than you eat per day you will lose 2 lbs per week which is the recommended MAX. activity obviously helps and carbs are not the enemy. The diabetic ass. of america recommends no less the 45 grams of carbs per meal 3x per day. eat plant based protein and lean meet, stay active and consult a professional. bodybuilding.com is not a resource....

    fast and weight loss never go hand in hand, IF, you want it to last.

    My experiences only. I hate when i have to say this but its the internet and people are asses.

    Quitting carbs will have rapid loss, and will probably come back just as fast.

    Eating no processed foods, watching alcohol, and walking will take longer but will have a lasting lifestyle. People like me, who always need to lose weight need a lifestyle change, meaning a permanent type of eating. Fad diets like atkins are not that. When my wife cooks lots of vegetarian meals with lean meats mixed in here and there, it works.

    There is no way to lose weight “fast”. It’s gojng to take time, and a lot of effort. It’s about 80% diet, and 20% working out IMO. You should probably start meal prepping so you have your meals ready and not running out to buy fast food whenever you get hungry. In order to get your metabolism running all day, you’ll probably want to be eating those small meals about every 2 hours while drinking lots of water and cutting out any sugary drinks. Then of course you’ll have to be working out mainly cardio, and you can throw in some weight lifting as well. That’s just my 2 cents on the topic, I’m sure you’ll have many different options as everyone’s body is different.

    Edit: lmao 80% diet 20% workout..math isn’t my best subject

    Same, then again I do have a crossfit background, but i'm no builder. Wife and I took two years off to indulge in being lazy after getting married. We now realize we feel like crap every day. Within 2 days, we swapped out all of our foods, got vitamins, workout proteins and finished the crossfit in our garage. I go to bed and wake up feeling like a champion.

    +1 for ditching carbs.

    More specifically processed foods high in carbs. I just use common sense and eat fresh natural foods as much as I can. Good luck, be safe. Avoid magic pill solutions, it will take hard work and dedication. There are no easy ways to lose weight.
