Not here as a potential customer, as I don't have a 2nd gen. Just offering a fair warning to those of you, who may not be aware, of how the CaliRaised 3rd gen faux grille sale went. To say it turned into a cluster is an understatement. There were a lot of customers that were over promised and under delivered.

Sorry my warning wasn't appreciated. Carry on.

I’d raher support a business in the states that works with the forum and all of us directly. Any issues they will be there for us! Take your nonsense elsewhere!

This is a presale and we have not shipped any. The only one we have is at the shop and we will be making a full install video early next week to give a better perspective.

Here's the 3rd gen "faux grille" thread. Not sure why @CaliRaisedLed doesn't consider this a group buy... but tomato, tomotto in my opinion.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/faux-trd-pro-grilles-279-99.517701/

Things started going sideways around page 18 of the thread (I'm not going to read through all of the pages to pin point the first post of discord), but #354 and #370is an example of someone who was unhappy with the customer service. There were numerous others as well.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/faux-trd-pro-grilles-279-99.517701/page-18

I personally don't have a dog in this fight, as I have a 3rd gen and bought the "overpriced OEM" grille after watching the 3rd gen faux grille thread. I just don't like seeing people on this forum get taken advantage of. Hope you make an informed decision, and I wish you luck on your choice.

People not getting the quality of item that they ordered and were promised. Once a complaint was filed with CR, it took numerous times of contacting them to get a potential resolution. Once the resolution was agreed upon, it took an equally long time for them to follow through with that resolution.

Yes we had a problem with the color of the letters on 25 3rd gen grilles. It took a little time to get resolved as we had to work with our manufacturer to get them remade, which isn’t a speedy process. However, we resolved every issue. The 3rd gen grille was our first product of that kind and we have not had any issues since.

We work very closely with our manufactures to make great products for our customers when not made in house. We were involved in the development process of the 2nd gen pro grill and are very impressed with the final product. Our goal as a company is to always grow, do the best we can and provide our customers with the best service we can. While some may not have been completely happy with the time it took to get correct letters, all were resolved and made right as fast as we could manage. The 2nd gen pro grill is a great product and we took lessons learned from the 3rd gen to ensure its perfect for all of you. This has taken over 4 months of work for us working closely with our manufacturers to ensure its perfect and we know you will love it. Thank you everyone for the support!!!

At $80 discount it’s hard to do free-bees. But let us look into something for you guys.

    Thanks for clarification,
I am assuming you guys will check each grille before shipping to customers that each has correct letter coloring and that all tabs are in place and not broken before leaving your facility? Im my humble opinion, It would seem that 99% of issues would be avoided if there is 100% QC before leaving your shop. Hoping these all come in correct to you @CaliRaisedLed .
