Some days I feel pretty good about making it all the way across the parking lot to my truck. :anonymous:

The ground isn’t very forgiving to the knees, which is usually my biggest issue while running. That and I’m out of shape haha. I prefer swimming for my cardio but then I gotta go to the gym for that

Man, just stay off your knees on hard surfaces, or bring a pad... Sorry not sorry :burp:

That could be, its sharing its platform with the new Z4 afterall. For me its a hard pass. Toyota could have built a behemoth like they did with the JZA80 but instead they came up with this.... thing. The LFA in my eyes was the next generation Supra.

Lead them the whole time you should set the pace. Mine use to pull me like crazy until I started forcing her to stay beside me and I set the pace. She can go for longer runs that way. Also I take mine out to parks and places and hike with her so lots of elevation change and not just easy side walk terrain. I know that's not your style though.

I’ll be 2 miles from surf in about s month. Thatlll be my cardio every morning. Buying a SUP for the flat days too. I’d like to be able to run but 12 years of volleyball killed my knees and it makes running painful most times.

EBC BDS blade slotted rotors, with EBC Green “Supreme” 7000 pads. Also have @HeadStrong Off-Road front and rear brake lines.

Quiet, smooth as silk. Aggressive stopping- especially when hot!

@saundern wish I had replaced my oem brakes before my trip out west. Was loaded down, plus family in the truck.

Those are the ones i'm looking at, but the Autozone Gold rotors and pads are good too. I had those on my 2002 Tacoma and had no complaints.

Can't hurt. While you're at it pull your rear drums and hose it down with brake kleen and inspect.

Another question, is there a constant hot wire in either one of the taillights?

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...unner-bbk-upgrade-for-2nd-gen-tacomas.504234/

This is the largest factory front brakes you can go with it's all factory bolt on. I have compared all the #s of the Tundra, GX470 etc and this is a sweet upgrade. Don't know if they make upgraded pads and rotors for this yet haven't researched it yet. You'll have to have 17"wheels though. I too have the Headstrong extended F&R braided brake lines and it's a great upgrade to the old rubber stuff.

Reviewed that thread in the past. May be my next brake upgrade- if I ever go to a 17" wheel.

This^^^^^^ and adjust the rear brakes as well

No there is a constant ground though. If you have the factory tow package I can't remember if the 7 pin plugs have a constant hot or not but a test light will be your best friend and a simple to use for finding things like this.

I’m running 16” wheels and don’t plan to change them. But I’ll probably go with the AutoZone Gold rotors and pads.
