Wind Noise 3rd Generation Tacoma Kazoo Sound

I have been to my dealer 4 times now to try and fix the ridiculous kazoo sound coming from my left side. I just got word from my dealer that Toyota will not fix this problem and that it is part of the design of the truck.

Sounds like big F-OFF to all of us owners.

There should be a notice at time of purchase that says this truck will make loud sounds when heading into heavy wind or cross wind at highway speed so stay away from the deserts , passes and mountain driving.

Has anyone actually gotten this fixed ?

My 2012 has done this since day one, they told me to pound sand until the tsb came out for the issue. Maybe they will release a tsb for the 3rd gen

 

T-SB-0170-16,,Had mine done couple of weeks ago,kazoo gone.I had complained for 2 years with nothing but a run around.Finally showed them a video clip of the problem along with the tsb # and they did it.They seemed to be unaware of the tsb.

They already have. OP take a video and the TSB in and don't take no for an answer.

Kazoo gone..!!

 

it can never be duplicated by my local dealer go figure....
