Were you able to pull the coil and shock assembly using the “No Spring Compressor” method?

First soft shackle tie attempt. Video turtorial was a bit confusing at the end of the button knot, that’s where I think I went wrong. Looked really good after tieing but after sinching it with the winch I noticed it didn’t tighten as it should as a ball, also found two parallel lines which you shouldn’t have. Was able to untie everything and will give it another go on some free time.. Working with 8’ of line, no relevance to the 8’ I made it to a 8” soft shackle. Size of the shackle is determined where you tie the knot, coulda made a 6” or 4”..

    Size reference

    Under tension

Fail: didn’t sinch into a ball

    Fail: parallel lines

Videos are usually easier to follow, but check out this:

Here's a video, if it's different than the one you used it might be more or less helpful:

Thanx I liked the vid. But like the rest I wish they would film it with a GoPro on their forehead so you can see the vantage point of what they are seeing, unlike the way it’s filmed as if you were sitting across from them. Extra points for the frisbee golf shirt

This is the one I refer to the most. Super informational and he ties the button knot twice, once with different color ropes and once as if you were tieing it with the strand in your hand. The view again is a little better over head, I watched it with the laptop upside down to see it in the first person view..

I'll keep it in mind Tim. I do have a member sending me a spare rim so I def might take it off your hands one day, but if someone ends up grabbing it for full price before I can make that happen, it won't bother me at all. It's a want but def don't need at all at this point. Really focusing on rebuilding my braps right now.

    Fair enough

I actually have three 315/75/16 Cooper Maxxs I would sell.

I have the new one that was my spare, and the two on my trailer that have a lot of tread left.

If someone wants to do 35s on the cheap, they only need to buy one more new one to go on the same axle as the other new one.

I’d love to sell all three and put Pros on the trailer to match the truck.

    $450 would buy them all.
