It’s not so much that it’s a difficult drive, it’s that everyone wants to drive 80.

In California, speed limits are a suggestion.

What's wrong with 80, the only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't 90.

I think I mentioned the story a few months ago about how when I was 19 I bought an old '86 Toyota pickup off a tweaker for $500, with no title and was mostly stripped (did not run). I had it towed home to my parent's house on a flatbed as well, with the very naive intention of fixing it up (turned out to be a huge money pit and I sold it as a parts truck for $400 about 6 months later). A few years later, my father told me that the only reason he let that whole fiasco slide was because he thought it would be a good learning experience for me, haha. It definitely was, in several ways.

Although you're definitely more capable at working on a vehicle than I was back in those days, I had every intention of learning but it was just way too much for me at the time...got way in over my head.

Haha yeah I remember you mentioning it a couple times. I bought it fully knowing I may never get a title for it, but I had to take the chance just because of how cheap it was. It runs and drive like a dream.

That is a sports cruiser decal on a taco? Just some dealership decal?

It's nice. Sucks when you have a 4 banger though. Eats any bit of hp that you thought you had

Reminds me I need to get mine looked at...for 2 years now since I got the truck, the AC works but sometimes it doesn't blow very cold and it sounds like Darth Vader breathing when it's running. Not sure if I just have a leak somewhere (hopefully) or if it's something much more expensive.

Evaporator had a leak, and the expansion valve wasn't holding pressure up to the right limit

Let's hope the SC can at least cover that bit of loss

I haven't caught up but I really wonder if my inflator is the reason for me less than speedy inflation from my CO2 setup. When I start it says it's coming out at around 90psi but then starts to drop to 60-80psi when it starts to ice up. You think the inflator is my issue or are those ARB ones (digital of analog) able to keep up to higher inflation speeds?

For reference I am using this thing to inflate currently:

    https://www.amazon.com/Inflator-Inf...=8-4&keywords=campbell+hausfeld+tire+inflator

Been trying to find something, anything that indicates high flow. But can't find anything that states that.

All things considered it wasn't that bad, the dude showed me my old evaporator and it was fucked. It gets really cold now, way more than my cruiser which I'm tempted to bring to them for a refrigerant top up. Just went for a drive, she's cold and I like it.
