Great follow up post. Nice job.

This has to be the first time though I've ever heard that an OEM roof rack caused a leak. You sure the 3rd brake light is not leaking. I installed the same rack and we've gotten 6" of rain this past week alone. I can't believe I got this mod right. I didn't even know the holes went all the way through to the cab. Weird.

I'm not even kidding but do all tacomas have that taco truck figure? That's rediculous

The price is fantastic, that is for sure. Please keep us posted on how they install, fit, throw light and how long they last. Please.
Would love to get @mesojdm thoughts on the specs also. I know you are busy tho...........

It isn’t the tether, it’s acting like the hinge it’s self is binding up and shifting causing the back of the door to wanna rub against the main quarter panel it’s mounted to, or in other words the inside of the gas compartment.
    (if that makes sense)

That is just freaking strange. I guess its possible that the hinge is just failing, and if so, I'd be willing to bet you could get the dealer to fix it for free.

Those look great! Have any pics of the light output? Also, how was the install and wiring? Were you able to use the factory mounts?

Here’s a photo of the output compared to my HID low beams.

Wiring was plug and play, in terms of install I’ll make another post covering that.

Nice! I have the TRD Pro Rigid Industries fogs with amber covers and those S2's look brighter. Thanks for the info and will be looking for the post with your install!

    Very nice.
Just ordered a V series myself this week. Seeing that pic makes me wonder if I shouldn't have coughed up the money for those side windows. I only opted for the roof rack rails, pet screens and fold down front slider. Hope mine ends up looking as good with the normal slider windows.
