Had a guy at work (24 years old) tell me (40 years old) how to fix a GC a couple weeks ago. He’s worked there for two years, I’ve been repairing and maintaining GC’s for 16 years. I didn’t mind until he raised his voice, like he was giving me orders.

I have learned most of the amazing shit I know from people who know what they are talking about, I ask questions and want to hear the answers. I love learning from qualified, smart people. Picking them out is easy once you start talking to someone.

People I do not want to listen to, always seem to want to talk to me.

What have I done to my second gen? I abandoned it for a week, for a fully loaded 2018 Sienna Limited, with a 3.5L and 8 speed transmission, and 296 horsepower. First time in a minivan in over 20 years, and I was impressed. Shit I’m getting old, but it was smooth on the interstate and would absolutely get up and go when you mashed the skinny pedal! Did I mention it had 296 horsepower? I still love my Tacoma, but if I could figure out how to swap motors and transmissions before returning the minivan...

This guy wants to google everything and make a spreadsheet about it, but will not pick up a wrench or screw driver and start fixing it.

    .
It's a tiny master lock replica of the locking pin that goes in your hitch adapter. It came with the larger pin lock. The small pin is 1/4" dia and was cut in length to avoid interference with the Jerry can frame when removing the pin.
Edit; called a "coupler latch lock"

The more you know, the more they will ask. I answer questions for a living, and its extremely difficult not to get frustrated with elementary type questions. I often have to remind myself to be nice to people, Ive even left sticky notes that say be nice. Oh and one more thing, once 5 o clock on Friday rolls around, the last thing i want to do is answer a question. Just tell me when and where to be wife!! hahaha Speaking of Friday!!!! Whhoooo hahhhahhooooo

And much to my surprise, my wife wanted the white letters turned out on hers too! I couldn't believe it. But I really like how it looks on her 4Runner too. She is happy with it, so that's all that mattersimage.jpgimage.jpg
