I have read the owners manual and these forums but am still unclear how A-trac works with a manual trans and how to use it with a manual trans.I maybe going to the beach this weekend so I would like to be prepared a little,so If I get stuck in sand with a manual trans what I understand isI put it in 1st gear then I put transfercase in 4 low and engage the rear diff lock then activate A-trac?Please let me know if this is correct,Then what? I let out the clutch and it does it do its thing? Do I modulate the gas?Do I even touch the gas?I have a 2018 DCSB OR with a manual trans.I know this has been gone over in detail but can't seem to find something specific on what to do with a manual trans, anyway please help me solve this mystery.Knowledge is power,I would like to look like I know what I am doing if I get stuck(if I get stuck I will certainly look like I don't know what I am doing, but knowing this will help)Thanks in advance to my fellow Team Tacoma members

I’ve got an MY. I’d push the A-Trac button next to the sunglasses holder “in” and leave it while you’re on the beach. That’s what I do. Then if you get stuck lock your diff to get out.

It’ll be pretty difficult to get stuck with A-Trac on. It nearly mimics a locked diff to begin with.

That thread linked above it a great resource. Study up haha
