Auto headlights sensitivity adjustments?

My 2017 Tacoma's headlights remain on during cloudy days. I have them set at "auto." Is there any sensitivity adjustments that can be made? Checked in the manual and couldn't find anything. I want to make the "auto" headlight feature less sensitive. Thanks all!

 

I have this also , pain in the arse in both my vehicles .

 

There's a setting in Entune for auto headlight sensitivity... 5 levels of adjustment.

 

wait... we have automatic headlights??? I thought we didn't?

 

It's part of the premium/tech package.

 

I have a 2018 tech package.. no sunroof so I dont have the premium. Do I have it too? lol

 

Sorry, for 2018 it's part of the premium package. The 2016-2017 models had a single "premium and tech package".

 

I looked in Etune and couldn't figure it out. I have a 17 Limited with JBL. Can anyone please walk me through the settings? Couldn't find it in the manual. Thanks so much~

That's really dumb, you'd think auto headlights would be a "tech" thing.. thus being in the tech package for 2018.

 

The Auto Headlight are a pretty nice feature, I set them the day I bought the truck and have not touched it since.

 

Can someone please walk me through how to adjust the sensitivity? I cannot locate the info in the manual.

 

I thought I would spend a min or 2 and find out for you. It is on page 592 of the owners manual .

Is there a way to do the same for the signallers? When I'm signalling, turn, and then straighten out, the signal turns off too quickly. Is there a way to adjust so that I'm able to make the complete turn before the signals turn off?
