I run 255s...great size!!

 

I’m running 265s right now but will be moving up to a 34 x 10.5 tire as soon as I can pull the trigger. If BFG made the KO2 in a 255/80/r17 I’d be all over that size.

 

We need to fix that sometime. I’m always happy to meet other Tacoma owners in the area. I’m the guy who waves to other drivers every time I see a modified Tacoma.

 

How coincidental is it that Springer is from Cincy?

 

I met Springer at a Cincinnati Reds spring training game in Sarasota about ten years ago. He’s a very chill person in real life.

 

Met him and Geraldo Rivera at a Derby event about 10 years ago. Springer came out of that side by side looking like Albert Einstien.

 

He makes me understand why other countries wanna bomb us out of existence.

 

Ghost peppers are blooming, habaneros will be in the ground this weekend, just put my LED interior lights in, now doing the Al Bundy until I gotta go make money.

is there anyone in the Cinci area who can reliably install the ECGS bushing to replace the needle bearing? I called a couple local off-road shops and they seem to think I need a complete regear and want to do it for $1200. After calling ECGS the part is $60 and it should be an hour job for $160 ish.

 

I’m going to buy the tool and the ECGS bearing replacement and have a buddy of mine who runs his own shop in Norwood do the swap. If you want we could split the cost of the tool and I could ask him when he can get two Tacomas on his schedule. He’s a former Audi dealership mechanic and the same guy who just installed my one piece rear driveshaft.
