The extended life coolant should last way longer but at the same time you are technically supposed to be checking acidity and concentration and all that. My guess would be AZ residents go through the evaporation cycles way more quickly so it may be a time-out vs miles kinda thing for us. I’ve already noticed my reservoir is down from where it was. Keep in mind too that pitch and roll from off-road fun will also splash out some, not like a spill but enough to make the neck weep.

Should be able to drain the radiator & refil it & be good right? As opposed to a full flush

Look at the color of what comes out. Any ick or sediment and it’s flush time, otherwise drain and fill with the same thing.

I usually do mine once a year... Which is overkill because my truck only gets about 6k miles a year.

A year ago I posted about how my dog Chloe was attacked by a lady's off leash dog and that dog broke her neck and killed her. I've been really depressed about that sinec it happened. More so that the owner never took responsibility and left us with a dead dog and a vet bill. (Story here, it's a tear jerker: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/lets-see-your-dogs.2844/page-853#post-15330293 )

Well it's interesting how life works out. My neighbor calls my wife "Is your little black dog home? because there is one in our backyard". It wasn't our dog and we found a new one. She was so scared and it wouldn't come out from her hiding spot, expect for me. I sat down next to her and almost within a minute or two she let me pet her. Shortly after that I picked her up. I asked my neighbor if she wanted to take care of finding her owner, she said no. I spent all week and weekend posting about the dog on a lot of sites and nothing. Not one person looking for her. So as of today I've decided to keep her. She showed up 1 year, to the day, my dog Chloe was killed. 1 year To-the-day. I didn't want a sixth dog but here she is. Sitting on my lap all day while I work and even as I type this.

So let me introduce my newest fur-baby to the TW family, (drum roll please)

    Welcome to the family Sasha.

3.5 lbs, Vet is guessing 6 months to 1 year old, already has had a litter. One of the sweetest god damn dogs I've ever meet in my life. She'll be going in to get spayed and chipped here in the next week or so. She gets along great with all 5 of our other dogs. I'm super happy. Thanks Chloe for sending this little one our way. We miss you.
