does anyone have any info on these injectors? (or the correct ones i need to plug pand play with the FIC-6

would really like to run the FIC-6 with bigger injectors and Meth injection instead of the URD 7th injector.

i already purchased my FIC-6 just need confirmation on the injectors and a plug and play harness from boomslang.

any help would be greatfully appreciated.

@1HItaco have you been going over to the turbo BS page in the performance forum? I know that this is sc, but a lot of talk about tuning goes on there too. I don't keep up with it often enough to know if you've been posting on there.

Going up in injectors is never plug n play. Will involve tuning despite what he says. But you have an fic6 so should be good to go.

The 305cc swap is well know and does work. But again. Is not "plug n play" as the ad makes out. Those injectors will bolt in just fine though. Then start tuning.

They will plug but I wouldn’t say plug and play, you will need to compensate the injector pulsewidth in the software, I don’t remember if the FIC has a table that will get it pretty close.

Would it be so bad to wire into the stock ECU or well worth the $150 for a patch harness. Either way what is the best way to splice into each wire ?

I wired directly in because I have a pretty good understanding of ECU pin outs and can read EWDs. I soldered every connection and had no issues. I think I had to redo a couple wires. So I guess the answer it- is depends.

Another factor is overall knowledge of your truck. When you boost it and have problems, you will have a better understanding of everything and be able to fix issues. A harness doesn't really help you learn much. JMO

Edit: Some wires you actually intercept, and some you just tap in to. The diagram will let you know which does what.

Can someone who has their FIC installed tell me which pins I'm missing? The yellow lines are the ones that Boomslang wired up the white ones were not tapped or intercepted and I know that at the very least cam1 mago- should be in place. What about the rest of the cam pins, and what about the crank pins? Any others that should've been tapped/intercepted? Thx

I went by this and didn't use the bridge resistor. Still running strong today.

I wired the same as @Clay_916 and added the cam resistor but did not use the resistor on the AF1+ connection as my truck is wideband vs the older narrowband.

So, you both ran the resistor in line on the cam? Positive or negative? What size, 10k, 2k?

So this is old but you described sort of what I'm going to try with my meth kit. It just looks for 0.5-5v input from any sensor (MAF, MAP...) So I'm going to try it on the TPS and see what happens. My truck pulls quite a bit of timing in boost so hopefully the meth helps a bit.
