    Just rolled in the driveway. We did entire DBBB loop. 5 Jeeps. 1 Tacoma and 2 T4Rs started. The T4Rs dropped off after 5 hours. ....I showed em what a Tacoma can do! Very proud of the silver Taco. Had Jeep people bragging on it before we were done.

    Anybody want to be a part of the Red Clay Rally this weekend ? We could use additional timekeepers. Would need to be in Johnson City TN (BORLA) Thurs night, and we end up in Lexington KY Sunday afternoon. super built rigs not required, this is an overlanding event after all :D

    Must be able to navigate without relying on your cell phone (y'all know how it is out there), camping in the woods with 100+ strangers, bugs, snakes, pissed off locals, wet conditions, etc.

    Bring pool floaties and party supplies

    Just ran out to the locksmith we use here at work. That trip took me down "Phillips Lane"....The road in front of the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, site of the Ultimate Offroad Expo (That's already started) The new obstacle course is a freekin' quagmire! It's been pouring rain off and on for 36 hours. Kentucky clay gets mighty greasy!

    Got my shocks ordered and then took them to cerakote and should have them in final assembly by the end of the day

    Done some other minor stuff but Baja 500 is this weekend so most all I’ve been able to do this week is logistical stuff and visits to storefronts to talk in person rather than phone

    So, yesterday I went to the outlet shoppes in Simpsonville and we drove my parents rental which was a 2018 Highlander. A couple of thoughts. I hate, hate, hate, did I mention hate, the radar cruise control in this thing. Good grief it was maddening. Maybe with a little more seat time, I could get use to it but wow. Also, can Toyota build a transmission that doesn't hunt for gears constantly? I guess I have been spoiled by my wifes 4Runner but man, it was rough. Lastly, and this is just not the Highlander, Ive felt this way about a lot of newer vehicles, but is it just me or is the AC not what is used to be? It just seemed like it never got as cold as my old Ranger did or ever my dads 1st gen. Other than that, it was a very nice vehicle to drive. Decent power, besides the transmission, good features and a lot of room surprisingly.
