Not for the front, was wondering if it's going to affect my stock rear locker. Not my area of expertise.

Oh! No, it won't. You just select the 8" rear end on their site, and it'll plug right in. David regeared through them and has an e locker and no issues.

Real question is whether I want to buy completed 3rd members or buy the ring/pin gears, install kit, and let a shop do it.

When looking around, ECGS beat everyone. After cost of ring and pinion, as well as the install kit, (and core refund) they only charge like $200 in labor.

My problem then becomes transportation related. A rental for that time period is going to run pretty high.

They mail you an entire third member, with all that taken care of. You swap it in, then mail your back for a core refund of $400 per diff.

Yea, I should have bought that heavy kit on ebay the other night. The price was right. Then I would have been prepared for when I can afford armor. Those sales come around often.

I would actually contact Headstrong first to see if they would price match, to throw the business at them. $980 is a pretty good deal for a complete kit (no UCAs).

Yea, the only time I am not fond of the "truck ride" is when I hit RR Tracks, Pot Holes or Bridge Deck Joints, and things get worse when any of these are on sever angles. Then you not only get jarred but you get the sideways jump. If I slowed down over them I know it would be better. I am always in a hurry though. I'm sure any aftermarket or upgraded Bilstein suspension would be better than the OEM Sport Hitachis.

I'm definitely envious of all you guys and your real off road capable trucks. Luckily I have lived a full life and have a lot to be thankful for. I can wait for this. In the meantime, like I told Joe, I'll just keep adding gingerbread so it is ready otherwise.

This weekend I am modifying the brackets on the Thule Canyon roof basket I have to fit on the OEM roof rack cross rails. It is freakin' 3" too short. I can redrill the brackets and make it work. Then I am mounting a 42" light bar to that bitch. The N-Fab tube bumper tube mounting system came in too so that is where the 32" light bar is going (which will ultimately be replaced with a real bumper). Everything else is done as far as mods go. Just need to concentrate on a lift, then armor. I am patient. And I can live vicariously through you all until then. Along the way, Learn Learn and Learn some more. This is one of my fav threads for that. This is where the magic happens, right @EatSleepTacos ?!

Yea, I just need to find a place up near me that I won't scratch the hell outta my truck to test them. I mean, I can't go a mile in any direction without seeing a corn or soy field and for review purposes total illumination would be best. If you can see a mile out into a field then you know they are gonna be ok on a trail. But I want to also show that they are adequate for trail use. You can't run them on road so mostly, like everything else, for show. :D Well, I could, and idiots up near me do, but I won't. My setup now is all LED and that is borderline obnoxious. Up near me, if you are, they let you know right away!

If anyone has Amazon prime and is in the mood for a scary movie, watch Hell House LLC. Probably one of the scariest movies I’ve seen in a few years.

@08comatose go big or go home 4.88s lockers front and rear arb dual pump and an air tank then you'll knock out the locker problem and can do on board air. Also if you ever get the itch to go 37s you'll be all set.

Placed the order for everything to make these fender plugs! Ended up having to buy 100 of everything, so my plan is to make all of them, and then sell them on the marketplace to recoup my material money. So if anyone is interested in unpainted plugs, bondo'd and sanded, and the neoprene washer, lemme know. All they'd have to do is paint them. (@la0d0g @ChadsPride )

I nearly bought a 45L rotomolded cooler yesterday for 185$. but when I saw the size of it I thought it was too small for 185$. Then I came back home and looked online and damn it was a good price finally lol but still too far. Whats the magic with those cooler to be so pricy?

They’re definitely bigger on the outside with a smaller inside, but that’s for the thick insulation. I think it’s just playing tricks on the mind, but there should still be 45 quarts or liters of useable storage space. Which brand did you look at?
