Spacers weird me out. Just the thought you gotta take your wheels off every so often to check their torque. I dunno......thousands of guys run them without issue, so maybe it’s just paranoia on my part.

These are 265/70/17 on the Toyota 4 Runner wheels that give you about another 1” of poke per side without spacers (and keep your original lug nut profile.....and Toyota quality):

i find it funny that probably less than 5% of tacoma owners modify their trucks and of that 5% probably less than half a percent dislike wheels other than factory.

here’s to the 5%ers paying for my mods:D

Thanks. There is a whole thread, with lots of pictures, devoted to these wheels wrapped in K02s. They come in black or gunmetal. They are the Toyota wheels for the TRD Pro 4Runner. The main difference is the offset:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/17-trd-pro-rims-and-bfg-at-tko2s.426902/

Don’t quote me on the exact numbers, but I recall the stock wheels are +25mm, or something, and these are -4mm, or something, which means you have -29mm compared to stock, or about 1” of more “poke” on each wheel.

They fit 265/70/17 without any rubbing, and I have flexed off-road, hit curbs, backed out of driveways, yadda yadda. It’s a “no-brainer” if you like the look of them.

Bonus is almost all aftermarket wheels require different lug nuts. These wheels let you keep your stock lug nuts, and your stock tire-iron to take them off if you have a road-side tire change.

This is kinda off topic but also not. If anyone is curious, third gen stock wheels will fit on a 1st gen Tacoma. I saw a 1st gen with 3rd gen TRD OR wheels yesterday. Looked good

In my opinion, These are the best looking wheels Toyota makes for Tacomas. I like these and the TRD Pro 4runner wheels.

Lies, certain aftermarket wheels DO look good. I agree that beadlock style wheels are ugly though..
These were 16x8 0 offset. Swapped my stock tires over fit perfectly. Due to the nature of the 0 offset it does poke out a bit more than stock wheels but is for the most part flush
