I do on my 1st gen. I really enjoy all the features of it.

 

Matic, I think it may be an option for replacement of my soft tri-fold. Here recently it's been more inconvenient than useful with trying to haul taller objects. Just need something relatively water resistant for the most part when carrying things for fishing trips and luggage for vacation. uhplifted, what didn't you like about yours?

 

Ready to finally do mine this weekend. This recent trip to the beach was a bitch of a drive.

 

Lot of rain and this was a different place. This was up on Bodie. But the ramp is the one I had trouble with Sunday. I got a little stuck coming out but I worked out of it. It's not compacted like some of the others.

 

It was more of an inconvenience for me. It didn't fit properly, but that was beacuse Bestop was too lazy to re-design their 2nd gen topper for the 3rd gen. I think the actual Softopper brand redesigned their model for a 3rd gen, and didn't just use the 2nd gen and rebrand it as "new for 3rd gen".

 

If I were to get one it would definately be the softopper brand. Not really a fan of the windows on the bestop. I'd actually see if I could purchase the softopper brand with no rear window.

Not sure if it broke during extraction or if this was the problem. I just set the broken pieces on top

 

Yeah I made sure to piece it all back together to make sure I had everything.

 

Trying to get the CB installed in the center console. Had to put an order in for this 90° elbow for the mic cause the cover on the center console won't close with the regular mic attached. Going to have to do some trimming at the bottom of the center console, too. Should have gotten a smaller radio.

Funny enough I already have that part done. I bought a new padded leather armrest cover and looks like it needs a pro to install it.

 

Does it look like it staples in or does it have long, plastic runners that attach to a metal rail?
