The TRD turn signal mod looks great. Where did you get them?

How's the batwing hanging in? Since it's so big does it flap around or make noise? Any problems with it? I want one but it just seems so big on the rack.

Finally been able to catch a side shot of her clean, then took her out to kohala, about an hours drive around the island for me with the family for a graduation party. Of course couldn’t find parking and wasn’t gonna have my sides scratched by aunties letting their doors swing so I made my own parking right in the front so first thing you see pulling up is this beauty

Took a picture! Fenders are completely cut and have trim applied for the 35s to not hit any of that stuff wheeling. Front bumper is on, winch and fogs are in, life is good!

Got my truck back from the dealer where I bought it used. I had them agree to fix a paint issue where it had previously had a ding (small accident) and the paint was flaking off the molded piece at the bottom of the front passenger door. When I first looked it over it looked great, just like it should be. The next day I was walking towards my truck in the parking lot and noticed that they had not just painted the bottom of the door but in fact painted the whole door and it's noticeably a different shade... Do you think this will fade and blend over time or should I be pissed and see if they will have it redone?door.jpg

Came across this nice cement grey TRD Sport in Waterloo at Erbsville and Erb at the Crappy Tire. Is the owner in the house?
    upload_2018-6-18_13-19-31.jpg

Finished getting the outer skin on the dog kennel Saturday. Ignore the bungie cord, as it's a temp solution for the lower latch on the door (it locks, but want a little extra insurance to make sure it doesn't move to the unlocked position).
    upload_2018-6-18_13-22-19.jpg

Next up the cargo pods that will be going over the wheel well humps, then t-nuts to bolt the whole thing to the three accessory rails. Still hunting for a used cargo basket to mount on top of the kennel, then body filler, sand it, prime/paint/clear coat to match it to the Inferno colour.

IMHO I would take it have and have them fix this. It won't fade and blend because the rest of the paint will fade at the same rate so it will never match.

I think the only way to really fix that issue is to paint the whole truck. From my experience, painted sections will never truly match the new paint.

Oddly enough I’ve been considering going the opppsite direction, to a less aggressive stance. I’d half looked into logistics to you by the time your ad came down.

Sorry my friend, but even if that fades, so will the rest. I’m no paint guy but have had my share of work done over the years. If it doesn’t match out of the gate, it likley never will. I’d make them fix it if it was mine. My Chevy dealer perfectly matched the paint (many years ago) on an 8 year old Suburban.
