The center console trim has little clips the hold it place. I used a small flat head screw driver to gently release the clips ass I worked it out. The ring around on the shifter boot is held in place with a zip tie.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Well Prinsu is mounted. Definitely a little more wind noise compared to OEM rack but not too bad.

I’ll have to get you the brand when I get back home today. Just off the rack lights from a local auto store. We will see how they hold up. I hear you on the pro grille. I love them and may end up switching one day. I’m torn because so many people seem to be installing them and my stock grille may be more “custom” one day. I derped it in the mean time to rid myself of some chrome.

Thank you! :) And yes, it has been quite hard not being there and a part of the process but my wife was more than willing and excited to do it for me! Going to make the homecoming that much better! (Which will be happening shortly if all goes as planned! :fingerscrossed:)

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on that thread for sure for a set of those mirror blinker lights.

Don't be too hasty Bud! The 2nd gen is a great truck!
I wish that I still had mine. I'll probably catch some flak for this but I liked it better than the 3rd that I now have. Don't get me wrong the 3rd is a great truck too but if there was a brand new 2nd gen available I'd have bought it. I liked the spin off oil filter over the plastic housed paper pos, I liked having a real step bumper over this plastic chrome piece of junk, I like that a header accessory rail was std equipment, and so on and so on.
The 2nd gen is really a great truck! If it's in good shape just give it some tlc and for God's sake don't trade it in. The dealership will sell it in a heartbeat and you might just be kicking yourself in the ass down the road.
