Weight reduction for Tacoma?

Anybody else find this? What’s this about?

 

ive got that on mine.....but its only reduced by 3lbs

im assuming its something the dealer put on when they see its lifted or something like that.

 

Weight reduction = race truck

 

Something the dealer added? Tonneau cover, toolbox? Suspension mods also tend to reduce load capacity.

 

Engine?

 

Reduced Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). It's probably due to the dealer installed Dikfer. I have also heard that 2nd gen's had that sticker from a Henway.

 

Ha I think you guys helped. It came with black oval step tubes. That might be about 40lbs

 

Mine is at #91 lbs but i have a - Roof rack /side steps/Tonneau cover you got off light

 

Wow. M-Cameron said his was 3lbs. Must’ve been a leather cup holder

 

And don't forget your Exhaust Tip that they added on your truck

After seeing this I had to go look . I lost 12 pounds from the various additions, probably mostly the tow package..

 

Mine had that sticker when I bought it. Except mine says 2lbs lol

Pretty sure all 18s came with tow package (no addition needed)?
