Finally got rid of all the effing beeping in my 2017! It has been driving me insane for months. The other day I yanked the buzzer from under the hood and tonight I pulled the dash apart and took the beeper off the back of the dash panel. It was pretty easy even though I'm not really great at working on cars. Looking forward to many beep, boop and buzz free years and miles! :) :)

maybe he drives with doors open, seatbelts unbuckled and anything else that beeps, chimes or makes noise when driving?? if he wants it quiet then turn off radio also, never had issues with anything in mine, glad they make noise so I know they are working...lol, just saying..

If you have the sunroof, it beeps at you when you exit the truck and the triangle light flashes on the dash. First time it went off, I thought I broke something.

i can see where the beeping gets annoying.

I can relate. Here in NM and TX we have a convenience store chain that uses beepers to deter theft. Everything you touch, open or get near sets off a beeper. I don't go to their stores anymore unless it's late. They are open 24/7 so sometimes I just have to grit my teeth and bear it.

Is it me or is there a influx in seatbelts and chime threads?

Same. Angel and the Badman is probably one of my all time favorites. Before going to Africa I watched Hatari!

It's wasn't even the seatbelt chime. I talked my dealer into turning that crap off. It was the buzzing when I opened the driver door to check off-road conditions or coyote sign. The constant dinging when the doors were opened. It's totally worth doing, to me.

The poor checkout clerks. Probably like some sort of water drip torture for them. Every time a customer comes in, they must just cringe.

Yeah I asked one girl how she could stand it. She said they eventually get used to it but they have a lot of new hires quit after the first day or two.

I agree. Who cares about the seatbelt chime. The door open chime is annoying and invasive. There are a hundred reasons to keep your door open and it should not beep at you. I want to know how you did this.

If you push the black button on the door jam it'll stop beeping until you close/open the door again.
