Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Roof liner completed and test drive. No rattles. Also painted Prinsu mounting hardware black and put 3M Clear protection tape under fairing seal.

The Hooligan got new 17 inch Fuel Beast wheels and Nitto G2's. I also added a Magna Flow cat back exhaust and Morimoto XB fog lights. Pretty happy with it, wifey is not though. 20180706_172207.jpg 20180706_172310.jpg 20180706_172256.jpg

The G2's i had on my first 17 taco did great in the sticks and they ard a lot quieter than the trail Grapplers i just swiched out. The magna flow! It was so loud at 75 mph that i wanted punch myself in the face not doing a better job of researching. I took it to a muffler shop and put a bigger muffler on it. I liked everything else about it. Its much more comfortable to drive now. The better breathing is noticeable in the power of the engine. I have the OV tune to install next week on my days off. I cant wait for that!

Now its good, before it was loud as shit. I am deaf in my right ear and my left has been damaged from years of music. The tone was felt like it was grinding away my hearing in my left ear. 2nd day i had it on i started using an ear plug. I drive 60 plus miles a day and so for 2 hours a day i was tortured.

I do the same except I use Turtle Wax Ice in between. But I have a white Taco and it'll look the same no matter what I use. To be honest, I have some Turtle Wax paste from the mid 90's my father passed down to me that works just as good as the new stuff. It just requires more elbow grease.

I installed a TRD Pro catback exhaust today. I love it! It’s pretty normal at idle and cruise, but it has a nice deep tone on the throttle and a really nice sound at 3000rpm right before I shift. There is no performance benifit, but I think the sound is totally worth it especially on a manual taco.B4E15CAF-6C97-4554-BDA5-20D55B6BDD2A.jpg

Had a similar situation on my 2012. Dealer said the terminal was leaking gas which was causing the corrosion. They gave me full replacement at 25,000 miles -3 1/2 years- under warranty.

Thanks for the links. I was wondering if you had to buy them separate and assemble or if you found them as a one-piece. I have the Wizgear magnet mount which attaches to the dash bezel but was thinking about going ram mounts on the dash. So was looking at options to attach the phone bc I like the ease of one hand with magnets. But for the iPad was thinking I’d go Ram X-mount.

Thanks, I love my truck. After switching to the Nitto G2'S i am a little concerned about the offroad capabilities. I am thinking that my old truck had terra Grapplers and my new tires are more of a road tire

I went to SDHQ and got a much needed BMC on my ‘16 DCSB 6MT after putting on these SR8’s wrapped w/285/75-16 BFG KO2’s.

    What do you think?

Played with a new photo tool with a friend while at work.

Not too bad for an evening at the station.
