    I sure wish I knew the weight of the CBI outback 1.0... and I too would like to see the HC and Standard... I would have thought the HC would be lighter...

    So the standard doesn’t have supports ? I would think the HC would be less steel. The cbi is heavy AF

    Yeah no the HC isn't really high clearance so to speak. Wrap around is a better term. Not really worth actually cutting the bed sides on our gen as it doesn't hang down as low as the others

    Wow, this looks awesome! Kudos for bringing out a first gen rear, love that.

    Edit: looking at the CAD - the one bit that I wonder about is how the swingout is positioned (looks like it's a double-sheer, welded to the back face of the bumper). How far does that put it from the tailgate, when closed? Is there a 3" gap? That's the one thing I don't like about my CBI, and it mounts into the top of the bumper (so would be closer).

    The Outback with dual swingouts (and tire + dual jerry can holder) is ~210lbs. Doesn't include the tire + jerry cans of course.

    The bumper itself tucks very close to the tailgate but we have not measured the distance from gate to tailgate but it should be similar now to what we have on the second gen, and that doesnt hang off to far. As soon as we have one mounted, you all will be the first to know.

    Essentially it is horizontal with the foot attaching behind the attachment points.
    You can see it ont he 3rg gen rendering, the one I have for the first gen is just complressed so you cant:

    So its not mounted on the swingout arms at all then? The hi-lift jack is mounted on the bumper itself? Between the tailgate and the backside of the stuff mounted on the swingout arms?

    I think its attached to the jerry can side with the bolts going into the same sort of box area just on the back side of it. Kind of cool design. Makes for a long thing sticking out when its open though perhaps. Also means the swingout/bumper sticks out a good distance fitting a hilift behind the table and all.

    This, as soon as I have something solid to put up (bumper on the truck) I will put it in here for you guys to rip apart haha. We have everything cut, just have to get it together (timing of the release of the T4R dual rear and the 50+ pre-orders we have are making it hard to work on anything but we are hiring new fabricators. Tyler will try to get this as tight to the vehicle as possible so we may end up mounting it somewhere else as he is not a fan of the bumper hanging off the rear like a saggy ass.

    That's what was making me wonder. The HL is fairly thick, several inches. Like 4" I think. That'll space the swingouts out that far at least.

    You are not wrong, but it does take a lot to offer all the options, keep it up to our standards or quality and make it all fit together haha, which is one of the reasons it takes us so long. We have no animosity towards any other vendors but most of our pre ordered items are people who already have someone else's stuff. We hate taking so long but it always pays off.
