You need to send a set of tiny hands for install. Lol. Had to get my wife to contort her arm in there for the light bar mounting. But other than that, very smooth install. Thanks for the videos too.

Some pics of the Tacoma during our trip to Utah's Dixie National Forest. It was my wife's and my first time to do any type of camping/exploration in Utah. We've only driven through Utah to visit family in Colorado Springs. The places in that small part of the world are amazing!Bryce Canyon 1.jpg

    Big hands here, too.

Not looking forward to the tight space on this upcoming install.

Looks good. Thinking of going with this exact setup. Did you get the battery through the group buy? I know it's over now... wish I would have gotten in before the close.

I like that you found a good use for that annoying (until now) useless cubby for your sub gain.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Great pics. Love Utah. Heading up there in August for a week. Looks like the Barstow McDonalds... Have passed that many times on the drive.

Yeah. You should be good. Based on the comments on their website this looks like a good option to use instead of dual battery set up. Appears that these batteries will accommodate significant accessories compared with the standard OEM battery. That said, if you have a fridge and other energy sucking devices, dual battery is still probably the way to go.

Thanks! I placed an order for one as well since the one I currently have doesn't cover the door areas. I don't think my dogs will enjoy it considering they like to rest their heads on the door's arm rest on road trips.

Yeah, you'll definitely want to go dual-battery once (or before) you get a fridge. I was hoping my NorthStar G31 would handle my ARB 50q, but by the morning the fridge would be in safe-mode (in warm weather, at least). You'll be good with just your lights and compressor. It goes without saying, keep the truck running if the compressor is on.

Thanks! It's actually a McDonald's around Agua Dulce. We took the 14 to Pearlblossom Hwy. ..but, the Barstow one is also a great stop that we've frequented. Hope you have a wonderful trip to Utah in August and enjoy it there!

I'm out of town but the family had the truck out running errands and were hit by a red light runner. Everyone is ok thankfully but damn this sucks on a truck with less than 4k miles on it. My uncle said the frame and suspension looked straight, might get luck and just need a bed, bumper and tail light, but we will see. It was just picked up by the auto collision shop so should find something out next week.

My uncle was really impressed by how it held up, it was an older GMC 1500 that hit them doing 35-45mph. No airbags deployed.

EDIT: Adjuster went around it, not taking anything apart yet, already up to $8k. The 3 week old topper will need replaced, was cracked on the inside.

Damn! Glad everyone is okay! Hopefully your frame is good too. That would suck anytime, but especially with less than 4K on it! Keep us posted on what the collision shop has to say.
