Ordered parts to begin some DIY repairs

 

Was going to reinstall the headliner but noticed some smudges and wiped them down. Then got distracted and put a few pieces of noico in one of the clamshell doors. Now I'm waiting on a burger.

 

CMC at GMG fabrications, thanks to Joe for the long day of trimming! so I can drive with my wheel/tire setup. Still need to max out my castor. Getting a tiny bit of rub on the seam and body at full lock in reverse on incline castor is only at like 1* right now. Small little hill flex just checking my clearances. Also had Joe chop my exhaust & last hangar for an axle dump & so I can fit a full sized spare in the factory location

Hooked up the trailer and have been up in Burlington VT this week with family and friends.

Tow mirrors are great and the transmission temps on the scan gauge are very nice to have (although I believe I need a larger transmission cooler).

 

Did plugs today for the first time since I bought her. Gaps were a little small, but they didn’t look bad.

 

Mind posting your final alignment spec's once you max out the caster? I'm in the process of eliminating my rub with the same size tires, already CMC'd, bashed the pinch welds, and did some trimming. I'm currently at 2.4*/2.3* caster so going to go back and see if they can't get it in the 3.0*-3.3* range to gain some clearance during compression/inclines.

 

Is that a 2' firestik antenna you got on the back there? I was considering going with something that size because I park in a parking garage at work daily with 7' limits. Hows your range/clarity and everything with it?
