So if you start the truck from inside the house, let it warm up and then walk outside to get in, as soon as you open the door it turns off?

yep. there are several threads about the various remote starts and they all kill the engine as soon as the door is opened.

Does the remote start allow you to lock the doors at least?

i'd assume the doors are locked since you would be remote starting it, but i really don't know because i don't have remote start.

I believe so. The 12vSolutions remote start uses the lock button on your key fob, so it should definitely be locked until you grab the handle to unlock (if you have a smart key).

They're all locked after remote start. As far as locking it if you've started it from inside the truck, you can use the hidden key inside the smart key fob.

Am I correct that there is no way to use an actual key to start the truck? (incase lost fob but still have key).

I don't think so. I would get the Lexus key card mod so I always have a backup in my wallet but just too much right now.

I don’t know if all models have the auto up feature for the window but basically this is what I do. Start in truck, turn it on and roll down drivers window. Get out and shut the door and reach in and lock the doors. Pull up on the window button enough to engage the auto up and voila. The truck is now secured with the truck running. You’ll have to use a manual key to open the doors now.

A big problem i have is when I get out with the truck running and go to the other side to get something/someone in or out and the doors are locked. I then have to go all the way back to the unlocked door. You can’t use the fob if the truck is running.

Question yally. where is the best place you can recommend to hook up my antenna for my CB radio on my truck? I DNT have no metal bunpers so that's out of the picture.

I'm not being picky, but I hate the volume control knob on the Entune (2018). It sits to flush to the surface and I keep changing stations every time I turn the volume up or down. Yeah, and I know I can adjust the volume on the steering (albeit my grandma's steering wheel, well that what it looks like ) but I'm old and not and can't train myself to use the adjustment on the wheel.

People have been making new knobs for them posted on TW. I just pulled mine out just a little and it's much better.

Am I the only person who doesn’t have a problem with the same stock knobs?

No, I'm fine with them too. If it becomes an issue, I'll buy small rubber or silicon rings to put around them.
