    I honestly don't know what the roof of the shell only would be able to handle. The yakima tracks mounted to the shell say not to go more than 165lbs and thats with it distributed using the crossbars. The yakima loadwarrior basket says no more than 140lbs. So if I had to load it out I would try to keep at no more than 125-130lbs - keep in mind that the basket is 25 and the extension is another 7.

    Could always go this route - go grab one of these and put the cap in storage.

    It’s probably the same amount of money for me to i beam as it is to a arm LT. But with i beam I could easily 4x4 swap at the same time
