I've seen people do lengthened TTBs but not crossover I beams

 

Idk never seen one but got me interested in the idea, wonder how well it'll hold up on our weight of truck when loaded

 

Hmm, yeah seems a little creepy. Also my tent looks more homey inside than my bedroom does haha

 

I mean i dont think its the best idea for 4wd more for 2wd but idk i could be wrong

I beams and trailing arms would be super cool to have but im a broke boy so that aint happening lol. But if i did have that i would be jumping everything

I honestly don't know what the roof of the shell only would be able to handle. The yakima tracks mounted to the shell say not to go more than 165lbs and thats with it distributed using the crossbars. The yakima loadwarrior basket says no more than 140lbs. So if I had to load it out I would try to keep at no more than 125-130lbs - keep in mind that the basket is 25 and the extension is another 7.

Could always go this route - go grab one of these and put the cap in storage.

It’s probably the same amount of money for me to i beam as it is to a arm LT. But with i beam I could easily 4x4 swap at the same time

 

I don't want to talk about my LT setup. Most expensive mod I've done

 

You basically need to hack off the frame at the firewall and go fresh to make it happen.
