I dig my bronze Raceline 935 Defenders wrapped with a 285 BFG KO2. I got 4 wheels for just $520 (open box) to my door, and sold my 12k mile OEM wheels/tires for $550... so that was a win in my book.

Here is my current set up.
Stock wheels with new BFG KO2 265/75R16 tires

For now I'll be keeping the wheels, but I'm going to powder coat them (wheels and cover) to match the Cement truck with some red trim (Toyota logo and lug nuts was my first thought...we'll see what the powder coat shop experts recommend, but I want some light red accent in the wheels). This is the direction I'm leaning towards (powder coating). I have the Cement color TRD 4x4 OR and I'm thinking about going with a matching powder for the wheel and cover and then IF POSSIBLE, powder the Toyota logo and lugs in red. I'm wanting a hint of red accent on the truck because of the Cement color and I'm going with an after market grill with the word TACOMA across it in red.

    Just some thoughts.

Well...After a lot of deliberation, yesterday I decided to go with 265/75/16 MickeyThompson Baja ATZ P3s on my 2018. I went the conservative route on the size because the truck is only 1 month old, so I didn’t want to modify anything more than what I had to. Maybe after it’s afew years old I’ll consider shooting for a bigger size.

Overall, I’m happy with the look. Newrims will likely come in the spring time. What do you guys think?

    I like it....

I went with the same size on my 2018 TRD 4x4 OR, just a different brand, and I think the size is fine if you are not lifting the truck or modifying anything else to fit a bigger tire. I had the same thought as you did with regards to getting out there and playing around for about a year or two and then deciding what I think will work best for what I'm going to be using her for. Good choice!!

Thanks! I’m pretty happy with it. I did level it about 2”, but from what I was reading, 285s would still have required some altering like the cab mount chop, etc. I’m really not trying to mess with stuff like that on a truck that’s 1 month old. If I had a 5-10 year old truck, then I wouldnt have hesitated.

Short answer, 3"+ standing water in pouring rain at 40 mph, not an issue, wear with above average spirited driving, freaking awesome, noise, very low to non-existent depending on speed and stereo, traction, excellent in the snow, dry and rain. I can break traction in the rain if I want to , handling, they do not search for the track if you are in a groove, comfort, I tell you what, these are truck tires, and mine are E rated (not that it means anything since the C is nearly the same weight) but compared to radial tires on a sedan, if the road conditions are good, these things are smooth as glass.

    Here's a couple great threads:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/post-up-your-nitto-ridge-grapplers.516210/

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/lets-see-your-taco-wearing-nitto-ridge-grapplers.502246/

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...rappler-proper-tire-pressure-question.484152/

I have not been off road yet but a lot of others have and swear by them. Myself, I want to put these on some winter/off road wheels and then put Terra Grapplers on my Ray 10s to keep em' fresh.

If you on the fence, post up what you're considering. There are some great options. I'm super partial to these though because I have run a lot of what's out there.

After Duratracs it's like different level. Haven't been off-roading much but feel lots of confidence with them on. Could be slippery on the wet road but I guess all aggressive tires are. Happy overall ready for first rotation
