Google Hippo Liner. If you have a compressor you can order a splatter gun with the bedliner kit and do it yourself. Find a paint supplier and give them your paint code and they can mix your paint. It's not a heated application like Linex but it's durrable.

 

Cheap insurance. $15 or so in parts and maybe 10 minutes time.

 

Rigid wiring harness and Air on Board dash switch installed, wired, and tested. Now I just need my BAMF grill mount and I can complete install of my LED light bar.

sure thing You only want to spray it at around 45psi. It splatters, as it's supposed to, so go to Lowes or somewhere and get some of the cheap plastic drop clothes and cover all the rest of the truck. It's easy to apply just follow the instructions.

 

Oh yea Man I am real OCD on that crap. I tend to overbuild and over prep stuff. Comes from years of doing mechanic work and "NOT" wanting come backs.

 

If it doesn't have as much texture as you want just hold the gun further back. Also, get a gallon of lacquer thinner and a couple of cans of gum cutter spray to clean the gun. If you don't clean it good after use throw it away. I clean the gun after each coat it's much easier to make sure it keeps working properly

 

Definitely taking our time, about 12 days. Visiting friends in Tehachipi, Ca, Grand Canyon, visiting friends in El Paso, a couple of days in Memphis, Nashville, and then to Virginia.
