I've been very happy with my expos, drove cross country a few years back with a full load in the bed, tools, guns, ammo, dogs, 2 people, topper, 16ft canoe and a full load of camping gear, and it handled it awesome.

Don't know the answer to your issue but what's weird is when my IAC gets dirty & has cold start issues, it will throw a CEL for TPS when I brake hard to come to a complete stop. Clean the IAC & the CEL for TPS won't come back for like a yr or two. I guess I really should just change my IAC already.

Replaced this POS Chinese made intake hose with a OEM Toyota one. After 2 years it was hard as a rock and crumbled when i took it off. $10 difference between eBay junk and Toyota price.:annoyed::annoyed::rant:

What is the Hilux snorkel that fits our trucks? I like the looks of those compared to the one for our trucks

Can anyone tell me the correct torque value for the lower ball joints? I keep getting conflicting information. I’ve been told 103 ft lb to 166 ft lb.

    Reserected from the dead.
The 4 bolts on the bottom are 54 ft. Lbs.

The castle nut just has to be tight because you need to line up the slots with the cotter pin hole.

For the life of me I can't get this stupid shifter cap to push down and turn so I can get to the bushings. It goes down a tiny bit and then won't turn or go down anymore. Is there something I'm doing wrong? 0728181050.jpg

I use an upside down set of pliers to push on it easier.

Check to make sure the two locating dowels aren't bent then, it's usually not super hard

After parting ways with Ben @m3bassman in Boise, we headed southwest towards California - and the start of our next trip! Along the way, several cool discoveries, and memories of trips past, and I finally got to weigh the truck. Man, it's not light!

    Too many to list
How many miles, was it serviced regularly, how far, and how fast you towing?
