I did that line with my DCLB back then, everything that we did up to a mud pit where I lost that truck was done in DCLB tacoma of mine :boink:

No flats, but plenty of flex :bananadance:

I am running them this winter too, since they are winter rated. They did awesome last winter storm we had. If everything goes well this winter, I will be ditching Hakkas and running Rotiivas on everything I have, less tire swapping :bananadance:

I also get about 9.5/10L on the highway with them, they are light and cheap!

Did you guys walk the line before going up? I find that is also a very important part of wheeling, seeing with your eyes the line you want each tire to take. At least for me it helps if I am unsure.

Looks like you guys had a blast, I like that north trail from when @Ttaco15 and I did it.

Firewood processing has started, and my storage area is already full. Only half split so far, need to make another storage area beside the shed now. It will be seasoned for next year and I can put out some for sale on the lawn and make some easy cash. Since in North Bay you can have backyard fires now, they legalized it last year. Lots of people want to have them but have no idea how to get wood in town.

You dont have to have wood covered for it to dry, as long as its split it dries. My grandfather never covered his split wood, I helped him every summer as a child to process wood.

He had 15 - 20 stacked piles of split wood in his bush, we would collect 10 or so of them and fill his wood cellar, then continue the process of remaking new piles.

    *edit*

Keeping in mind you can use common sense, you take outside pieces of wood with bark on them. Those are your top pieces that cover the pile when its complete, the bark is a natural cover for the pile. This is how I learned to do it.

I miss those days so much with him, I leeched knowledge from that old man every chance I got. He had me driving the tractor by myself by the age of 10. Hooking up the wood spliter by myself, taking them into the woods. Hooking the PTO run splitter up to the tractor via a HUGE belt and start the splitting before he got out there to start felling tree's.

I remember one time getting the tractor just sunk so it would not move, he sat down and laughed so hard he was crying for 10 minutes. Took us the rest of the day and 2 other tractors to get it out. That old man was and still is my hero.

Only the off road I believe.

Which is what I climbed up that same part after in the rock setting basically just limits wheel spin. Easy climb after

Just means come out more haha

And I'd say it's hard to compare your experience to others.

Keep in mind the other three 3rd gen were all off roads so shorter wheel base and better traction control.

Jake and I are both on 33s as well

I think you meant to ask llamasmurph, who originally posted the story about his Grampa.
