Dont do the fpr mod with the UCON! It needs a constant fuel pressure.

The brass fitting should come with a fuel pressure gauge. It screws into the tap and is a pressure sensor. Then fuel pressure is electrically sent to the gauge eliminating having to run a fuel line inside the cab.

If you do the gates tube have it in super hot water for a minute and someone to help press it on. @crashnburn80 and I went that route and his works fine.

Will do, I read something in that thread posted above about boiling it and then pressing it on. Sounds like it'd be almost impossible to do without heating it up first.
Did you do this on your truck as well?

The brass fitting is the sensor that reads the pressure. And just wires running to gauge.

Same thing with my guage I described earlier above (water temp) that I haven’t hooked up yet. It came with a brass fitting that I’ll have tapped into the radiator, the electronic sensor then gets screwed into the fitting and runs back to the gauge.

Or there are a bunch of fittings that go inline with the sensor that goes in it. Then you can put it closer to the motor for more accurate readings. Mishimoto makes a nice one.

Do you have any info on the A-pillar gauge mount that you used? Im curious if the grey matches pretty close to the interior of these trucks

Sure! I did I pretty good write up on it. I’ve sent it to a couple guys on how I did mine. I can send it to you too. You do need to do some very minor trimming with a dremmel tool but it’s all simple. As far as the grey. It matches close enough that you absolutely cannot tell the difference....and I’m picky about that kinda stuff...gimme a little bit and I’ll send you that write up

I forgot all about that thread. I'd actually like to do that mod whenever it comes time to drop the pump and replace the filter, as I'm using rubber line as well.

Changed the fuel filter and checked the bypass actuator. Fuel filter made no difference, and bypass actuator arm felt smooth without any point that felt like it was binding. Fuel rail tap ordered earlier today along with an aem fuel pressure gauge. Will check the fuel pressure once that comes in and then proceed on with troubleshooting the fuel lines coming out of the tank.

Hope the new gauge gives the info for a solution. Post some pics when you're done installing please.

Ditching the Innovate MTX AFR. New sensor lasted about 20 minutes. Hopefully the sensor is still good and it is the gauge. But help me to decide which new one to get. AEM or Tanabe. Tanabe definitely gets the looks check mark. And with AEM, which one, the fail safe to do AFR and boost and ditch the Innovate boost also(which I do really like) to get a fuel pressure or get the new AEM x gauge? So many choices I want to pull my hair out. I really just want the Innovate to work, it looks good, goes from 7.4 to 22.4, matches the boost gauge and is paid for and already installed. But I need to decide because I got my UCON EMS and it is getting installed soon. I want to see my numbers.
