If you can find some aftermarket low seat bases for like a racing seat then modify it to fit the seat and bolt locations

Yea. I think the rails the seat rides on are at a fixed height because the mounting point in the floor pan are raised already. When I was researching, i remember the foam removal now that you mention it.

It was on a blog for people that have difficulties because they are extremely tall. There is a rear view mirror relocation mod too for our 3rd Gens. Raises it up to the headliner.

@dark vader trd pro switched his OEM seats to racing seats. Might be able to lower your seat that way.

 

Or the passenger side in clear view.

Anyone know of they make a rotopax about the same size as a 5 gallon Jerry can but half the width? I'm working on a plan to make a swingout basket and want the option to either have 2 full size Jerry can or 1 Jerry can 1 rotopax and a 11pound propane cylinder.

Anyone get discounts on rotopax?

 

Thanks, it came together pretty well, just going to line it with some rubber to prevent it from digging into the roof rack bars and it should be plenty strong to hold it up there.

No, but plans in the future will bring it.

 

And later 2nd gens. I did some brief research into getting some recaro but then I saw the price of $700 for the pair and brackets.

 

Craigslist them. Or get different Recaro seats from a VW or something. I want to for my accord

I don't like that my truck has side airbags

 

I'm done, but not totally satisfied with the result lol. I hate working with wood, It never line well at the end... but still, it is better thant what I had!
