Has any of AZ guys have dealer install the new TSB 0062-18 recently? Where? Any hassle from the dealer with "can not duplicate"?
If installed, any improvements over the stock settings?

Got mine done. definitely a noticeable difference. I'm also at altitude in Prescott so I may see a bigger difference. I got the tsb for the transmission shift points and the ECU TSB.

It's still no rocket but I feel like I'm lighter on the gas pedal now.

Service was done at Toyota in Prescott.

Got mine done yesterday! No trouble from dealer, I let them know mine was fishing pretty hard for gears around 70-75 mph and that was good enough for them!

I'm interested in this as well, specifically the issue description told to the advisor and at what dealer...my purchase/servicing dealer is Big Two.

Is this TSB for the 2018 models? I am trying to find information about the TSB but I am a fairly new Tacoma owner and I am unaware of where the TSB's get posted. I'm seeing a lot of discussion about this specific TSB.

Thanks, I had just stumbled upon the PDF in another thread shortly after posting that reply. I got my truck up in Phoenix but I am going to contact the dealership down here in Sierra Vista and see when they can service my truck.

Picked mine up today. They did the software update. The take-off stumble is resolved.

@PangTRD yeah it’s way better now. I was skeptical of people saying they noticed the difference but a couple days in from the upgrade, mine feels like it’s gotta a little pep to it like when using ECT.

    UPDATE
After 1 week of driving with the new TSB 0062-18, there is no change in the MPG. In the beginning I lost about 1 MPG since I had fun pushing it but under "normal" driving conditions on US-60 WB, the gas drinking habit is the same.

I got it done in Tucson last week. I just told them my “experience” and they did it as part of the Toyota care checkup or whatever. Just say you were in flagstaff recently or something. They’re not going to drive up there to test your truck at altitude.

Got mine done on Aug 1st.

Feels like a completely different truck. Honestly this is how it should have been from the beginning.

Using camelback Toyota tomorrow. Have had luck with the 2 different flashes there, also used my same adviser.

Dropped the truck off at camelback Toyota. Service advisor was giving me a hard time but I stayed pretty adamant. Will see what happens. He also kept telling me I probably “already have it” because of my transmission flashes I did through him. Told him it’s a whole new thing and this just came out with whole different codes.

Did my good dead for the week - alerted 2 other 3rd gen 4x4 owners of the TSB and what to say to the service rep to get-r-dun.
