Yeah idk how it's actually removed, never looked into it. Most people just disable it by pulling the fuse, but that doesn't free up any space

I mean i can do it but its alot of work just to put a compressor there. I can probably do half the work and put a compressor elsewhere and be just as happy

ive seen people put them in the cab and "supposedly" its not that loud. but if you have a 1 gallon air tank your locker shouldnt use any air and you wont need to turn the compressor on unless you air up tires

Doesn't really matter because if you're filling the tires you aren't in the cab, and if you're running the locker it is on for all of 5 seconds. Or you can use CO2 cartridges to run the locker, that is even easier.

Yeah those work just fine, they make a manifold for this or you can assemble it yourself. Can trigger a locker something like 30 times off of one.

@m3bassman - that was exactly the issue.
Pulled the OME coilover, reversed it - had to turn the shock eye a little to line it back up, put everything back together and.... NO CONTACT AT FULL DROOP :taco: Now whether it matters which way that pigtail is supposed to be facing remains to be seen, all I know is no more contact and gouging of my coilspring.

Still going to dump my 2nd gen OR and put the stock starfish alloys back on. I'd rather have the additional clearance for the time being. Thx for the feedback.

yea, the vairs are good, and you can use any manifold for the locker, unless the arb has a special size or thread which i doubt it. there not like apple with there phone and computers

Arb only does one thing goofy, they use BSP fittings whereas everyone else uses NPT, but no biggie just convert to 1/8" BSP from 1/4NPT and you can use the standard ARB locker hardware

Even then im sure you can just make a adapter if arb did. And yeah i was looking at the varis before. Arb wants like 550$ for a compressor
