Anyone got a fancy aux fuse panel they're proud of? Slowly getting mine together. Including the bus bar some can wire all my switched up and then the time comes to add accessories I can just connect them to the bar and add the appropriate fuse.

 

Looks like a tornado ripped through webster, MA... or so I'm seeing videos of the damage online.

I have a bussman setup under the hood and a blue sea in the bed.

 

Did it get expensive with all the metripack and weatherpac connections and tools?

I'll probably make this pannel and use it until I'm at the point where my truck is finally being built, and then I'll do it exactly how you have it.

 

I want to put one together on this truck. I’ve always just tucked my relays and fuses away neatly, never used a block to manage accessories. This truck, I know generally what I want and already have most of the parts so I want to take the time to add a fuse block.

 

Yea... I bought enough to do both panels and to make custom harnesses for all the accessories. Pretty much every add on I did that needed electrical runs weatherpac connectors and is heat shrunk and sleeved. I spent just under a grand for everything and the extra to do more at a later time when I decide to change it up. I bought a pre-built panel with pigtails hanging off it from sandman on this forum and did all the connectors and wiring myself.

 

I is starting to paint da new bumper. Getting the inside guessets gets you real high

 

Posted mine a little while back. Nothing too fancy but gets the job done. Dont have much attached to it yet... only the CB and HAM radio. Hope to have some rear dust lights, behind grill LED bar and light for inside the cap wired up to it soon... but no money for that stuff yet...

 

Exactly what I'm using it for. So far it's ditch lights and a Kenwood V71a. Going to add a winch and light bar next year hopefully

 

Just drove back from Hilton Head. 13 hours door to door, I am dead today. Took the civic and averaged 44 mpg talk about ultimate aero lol. Wish I took the taco but $50 in gas one way you can't beat it. Have Fun on vacation!

 

$50 one way? Shit. Awendaw and back plus driving around a ton down there is $400 in gas (89 or better octane)

Outside guess, but does it have a chipped key similar to the GM PassLok system?

 

Probably would be my guess depending on year

Get an MSD relay block. It has 4 relays built into one unit
