The original fix lasted for some time, but alas failed on my way to Cape May, so all we had for fan speed was high (at least we had AC lol) the new redesign on the resistor and plug should take away the chance of this failing again

Hmmm ... Mine did that for a day or two this spring as well, but then it self healed.

Toyota apparently really screwed the pooch on that whole blower circuit, I went through three fans under warranty before it worked without chirping.

Northrup Grumman is hiring engineers...as is Lockheed and my company Sierra Nevada. Plenty of engineering jobs in Denver, boulder, and c springs

i've painted all the ceilings, and almost every wall in this house myself. I'm actually helping my friend paint his house he just bought this weekend haha

Thanks! I actually think there is a lot of room for improvement, (like the drip in the one photo from it being painted before i should've noticed/ sanded), but it's a heck of a learning experience!

Yea man I bet. With my rents I have had to do all that stuff over and over. Pops is a civil and just the association of this sort of stuff set me straight on just being a mech instead.

yeah mech is where it's at! i was just at a SW user group meeting and learned how Hershey Med uses SW to design things for hearts! they even use flow sim to plot pressure and flow, and it's amazing how close the sim matches real life

They had this one program (i forget it's name), but given a design table, could spit out something like an optimized rotor for fluid at a certain velocity. so insane
