Im thinking im gonna try and change the digressive characteristics of my shock and gonwith a more progressive stack. Probably a double flutter, but I have to talk to icon and see what they recommend because the piston creates the digressive characteristic of the stack and flow. This is a good website for a basic understanding of it

Most people grossly under estimate what commercial grade restaurant equipment costs. $6k is child's play in this space unless you're looking for basic shit

Yeah, i didnt get the ride hieght i wanted with the amount of weight on the front end with the 650lb coil. I had to preload the shit out of the coil and it was too soft. The 700lb coil I went with has brought out the digressive characteristics of the shocks “I believe” not sure but they give me my ride hight at the correct factory preload. I want a shock that wont be as stiff on smaller bumps and not blow through the preload of the valving at higher speeds. “I think” haha tuning a shock is a well kept secrete by most companies and is vehicle specific. So there will be trial and error. In theory my ideas work, but we shall see how they translate to reality

ADS are sweet, keep in mind they are a small company and I have heard hard to find parts here in socal, might be more accessable in your area. Thats they only complaint I have heard about them, everything else has been super positive

I really dove into all the info. Its super intreguing to me, and if i find the right stack, i will then save up n add the cdc resis so I can then really tune em and fuck with em hahah. Plus if I can rebuild a shock it will be a handy thing to be able to do. Plus I found i can make them extended travel for a $35 part. Growing up I never had access to info like this and for the last two years have found it incredible how much I can learn from da intraweb hahaha

I bought all of these for less than $75. The prices of all of them have steadily risen as more break and people get nostalgic. I'm not married to any of it so I'll sell it as I start to see prices peak. Just fun to play with and then sell and most of these I've fixed.
