Shit meng, are you saying its only a matter of time before they pull the plug on your position? Not a bad idea with beefing up the resume with these tasks to move on out if that is the case.

On a side note, I felt like you this past weekend when I was finally wrenching off my old oil pan and swapping in a new one. I was wondering what the infamous Dtaco might be wrenching with on the other side of the country. Damn Texas cross threaded my old drain bolt when I was on travel last year...

Well speaking of jobs...so I get to have a phone interview tomorrow with the FAA. Looks like they support both Seattle, WA and LA. Im curious to see how that plays out and if I get a spot at either locations should it work out.

Could be killin guac before I know it.

God damn man that's some time in. Are they downsizing significantly with the personnel there or just going into a different direction with their business? Could be worth it to start throwing out the resume just to see who is out there. I did that recently with my stuff and damn I get hit up a lot more than I expected.

Damn man sounds like some serious decision up ahead. May not be bad to try to identify what you might want to do in the event some of that stuff takes longer than expected. What is your career field?

That's solid man, I wonder if converting to IT would be worth doing. At my company they are paying booku money for cyber secutiry IT guys straight out of college. That pay rivals being an experienced task manager as an engineer for me.

Lol I work for Enterprise but some of the same recruiting styles are used if I'm honest.

I honestly believe that I got the one and only honest recruiter to ever take a turn at it. Dude straight up told me how it was gonna be and what to expect. I knew the score before the games were ever played.

I thought you had a fun job where you were with welding and all that, or is that just for the race truck? Rail and transit is a bore to me.

Danny you need to subtract the weight of the stock bumper.

    Imagine a stock truck = 0

You have new leafs designs for 500-600# of ADDED weight.

You take off the stock bumper that's roughly 80# and you're now sitting at -80#
Add on a ~170# bumper and that moves you up to 90#
add on the tent, and rack and he's at 290#

Small difference, I know, but he needs closer to 200# of added weight to lower the rear 1" to sit in the correct ride height for leaf springs made for 500-600 pounds of added weight.
