Really? I haven’t been on here in a while. What do they have going on? Thinking about selling my cement and getting a diff. Color or a bigger truck.

My cement paint is pristine. But my truck is practically brand new.

Edit: found the blue thread. Reminds me of the civic si blue paint issue to a T

I wonder if black will end up with the same issue? On the civics, black went bad too....

Just materials since its something I offer at my shop ;) But if I were to do the front bumper and grille surround for a customer, it would be in the $500-600 range.

They're all the blazing blue trucks. Sounds like a bad batch. 2017 paint issues is the thread title.

Just got my prinsu installed on my leer cap. So exited to put this thing to use this fall. Camping/archey season is right around the corner.

Does this attach to thule or Yakima mounts or directly into the rack mounting strips on your leer? The Prinsu site says the preferred method is to attach to Thule or Yakima but I want to gat a rack like this for my A.R.E. bedcap. Do you have any close-ups of where the rack meets the topper?

I love these winjet tail lights but I’ve heard some people having issues with radio interference and water getting inside. How are they working out for you?

So mine mounts to the thule tracks. I ordered my cap with the tracks already installed. ARE uses Yakima tracks on their caps. They are universally the same design. If you don't have the tracks on your cap yet you can mount the PRINSU rack directly to your cap, this isn't a preferred method because if you go to sell your cap/truck and want to keep your prinsu rack you will have holes in the cap that need to be filled. Id recommend installing Yakima tracks on your cap. it makes the top more versatile and less likely to have issues with leaks

I had to make modification to my mounting brackets that prinsu sent with the rack. Reason why is that my tracks on my cap where mounted at 44 inches apart from the center of the track. They brackets would only stretch to 42 inches. Leer told me they basically just randomly put the rails on unless specified in the order.

I wish i would have known before I ordered my cap or i would have ordered them to be placed 40 inches apart to give me some wiggle room. @CBI Offroad Fab told be to modify the bracket and it would still function the same way.

Ill get you some pictures in a bit.

No issues so far and I've had them on since the beginning of June. From the research I did before buying them, they got the radio interference issue solved earlier this year. I haven't seen any water issues though.
