The worst part of an oil change from some is sending the oil off for analysis for the sixteenth time this year and bitching about what oil filter and oil to use as they suffer the indignity of having to have a family outing at The Olive Garden because dad won't stop giving Blackstone Lab every extra dollar as he hopes to achieve the perfect oil analysis. In the mean time while dad has his oil analyzed more than his own cholesterol which will result in his early death after he strips the skid plate bolts from his over zealous oil changing nonsense for a vehicle he'll keep extactly 36 months because Toyota is releasing a triple cab Tacoma and the wife wants to adopt two three legged labs with irritable bowel syndrome that require some special dog food that's like $180 a bag.

Not just any synthetic, but some bespoke shit that can't be found anywhere local, it will have to be ordered in from Japan. Just remember the new Tacoma triple cab will still come with rear drum brakes and please tell Connor to stop taking his rented band instrument in the swimming pool.

I guess I should cut up $100 worth of oil filters to determine the best one.

    I guess I did.

I just use Crysco to butter the bread before grilling.

Perfect gold/brown and crispness every time.

    Margarine is an excellent compromise.

I told my friend about it, and apparently Mayonnaise is an acceptable substitute?

Don't forget to heat different oils on the wife's new $1800 stove that's barely into the third payment on a zero percent interest financing plan from Home Depot. The real indignity here will be that that's the first time that stove has any kind of aroma outside a burnt $1.89 frozen party pizza. Make sure to forget about the last test batch and you're 20 deep into a case of Bud Light as the shit auto ignites and you discharge 2.5#s of ABC chemical on it in a panic. The wife will be home soon and the kitchen well it's fucked, the dogs won't stop barking, the smoke alarms are going ape shit and you realize you have no cleaning supplies because the maid brings her own. The cabinets and vent hood above the stove are fucked as the wife some in and asks what the fuck is going on here as she burst into tears. You try and say that you just trying to make some taco shells, but she see's right though the bullshit Brad. She knows there's not a single tortilla or any cooking oil in the house and the Mobil 1 and Motul containers on the counter isn't helping the bullshit either. In the mean time on a Monday morning the wife Ashley calls Becky at State Farm to report the claim, Brad sleeps on the couch for a week and five weeks later the kitchen has risen from the ashes like a a phoenix and the stove is back to the usual cooking frozen pizzas and boiling water routine, Brad still isn't getting the sex he wants other than the transactional kind after dinner at Applebees and getting a few wonder woman's down her gullet.

I actually couldnt care less about my oil&filter brand. I usually stick to Castrol GTX and a Napa gold or OEM filter. But I saw where fram updated their extraguard filter so I imagine their not as bad as they used to be. And I dont care if the endcaps are paper or metal. Makes no sense, no reason to argue about it.
