Has anyone had RSG Off Road do their CMC?.. Just curious if they are similar to InSain? I happen to work close by RSG so it would be convenient, but RSG is $50 more than InSain.

I've seen the RSG chop in person and they are very clean. What do they charge out of curiosity?

Not too bad, I'd pay for the convenience of it being close

I used InSain. Corey does an excellent job, he’s fast and clean (I was in and out in under an hour).

I did Insain but have heard great things about RSG. $300 is a bit expenive, it only takes about an hour to to the job. Plasma cut, weld on precut plates, grind and paint..

Go with Corey. I went with RSG when they did my lift. Later, Corey showed me where he would have done the CMC differently. RSG's flat plate barely was worth it. Still rub at full lock. Corey's got it figured out.

How long ago did you have your CMC done? I wonder if RSG has changed since then... they described the round plates that are shown above. Did they trim and remold the plastic for you too? Apparently, they do that too now as part of the process.

I'm scheduled with RSG currently, and that's just for the convenience of not having to take off work. If I had the time, I would head up to Thornton to see Corey. I've watch his YouTube video numerous times.

Your post has me a little worried.
Since RSG is just around the corner, maybe I will get some free time at lunch to swing by. Hopefully, they can show me some pics from a previous install.

The round caps are for second gens if I recall. 3rd gens require a plate.

I will find out very soon... I never did get a chance to swing by before, and the appointment is today. They did mention the rounded CMC when I called to make the appointment.

It's hard to tell from the pics in the link above, but it looks like RSG is a little more aggressive in the material that was removed. I'm hoping I will not have problems. I do still need to go in and trim the plastic, that should make it look better.

My only critique is the welds could have been cleaner.
