So finally got around to taking a few pics of the lift completed. Thanks to everyone that helped me with info, product suggestions, and constructive criticism.

None. It is quite close tho. I wouldn’t be surprised if it does off-roading if the stars align

I hope you aren't too attached to those.
Scuffs and scratches will be likely with that offset. Very similar to mine and I get scratches constantly off road.

If you have the time I'd suggest remove the side steps. Eric's got pretty beat up in ardbeg last year.

If it's close now it will definitely rub off road. On road might be ok but off road won't be. Like was mentioned when you asked about them and am the people saying they fit, they just don't wheel so never actually compress enough to have them hit.

I just use a sharpie paint marker lol. Hides them well enough, end of the day don't really care .I got them for their lightness. Not looks . As long as they don't break doesn't matter to me how scratched they get

    Whats the weight on them?

VTX released wheels for my truck at 25lbs, its too bad no one sells them in canada.
Im thinking right now i like the new method 701. 30lbs though, but got some fake bead lock crap that may or may not work. AEV wheels are nice but if you get it with protection ring your at 35lbs and beadlock 37lb,s for a wheel, is crazy

Noticed 2 weeks ago on an adventure that there was a rattle coming from the bed. My truck does not rattle, clank, bang, or anything.

We went to the beach this weekend and I noticed it was gone. All that was different is I put a ratchet strap holding the beach chair, recovery boards, and a plano case up against the back of the bed, under the window.

Today on the way home at lunch, rattle has returned.

When I get home I grab the square tie down point attached to the bed on the passenger side, and I can lift the bed up and down. Rattle located:annoyed: It is either the big hex bolt has loosened, or the bed has a problem.

Driver side does not move, when you grab the tie down point and pull up.

    *edit*

I think I might just let the stealership deal with this problem. Should be covered under warranty as the bed is not a consumable.

    *eeeeddddiiiittt*
Stealership says it will be covered under warranty no matter what the problem with the bed is, not bad for over the phone. Appointment set.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-loose-bed-design-flaw-explanation.388873/

I am going to make the plastic spacer from scraps of plastic were I work, so I can correct it if I am unhappy with what they say.

If they just crank the bolt down it will not do anything so I am not going for that solution. I am also going to paint marker the hex head, washer and bed with a straight line, before I go into the dealership. So once I am not looking they cant just crank it down and tell me its fixed

Forget exactly but they were under 25 . Think it was like 23 or 22lbs.

From what I found they were the lightest wheel for Taco in my search

I'll text him. Don't like giving out others number without them knowing/being ok with it

I'll see if he wants me to give you his number or he'll just sign on.
