Yeah very true, the production on mine isn't going to be started until mid February from what they are saying. It should be worth it though for a quality product.

Like the truck so far, but IMO the grille has either gotta be blacked out or replaced with a Pro grille. Just isn’t visually appealing wiyh those super dark gloss black pro rims. Looks nice though.

Great Truck! I'm getting ready to buy, and want the TRD PRO wheels as well. Did you have the dealer swap, or purchase after the fact? I'm trying to figure the most cost effective way of doing the swap. I'm eyeing a TRD Off Road at my local dealer, and was hoping I could somehow do the wheels swap as part of the deal.

They're post purchase. Sold the stock setup less TPMS on CL.

Yup. I like this version of the grill better than the braces the 16/17's had—but still a bit much. Might do a TRD Pro grill.

You can always just swap out to an SR Bezel. I think it gives it a much better look.

I like the new grille better than the stock one like mine came with for sure, but the more black in the pro or just something with a flat, satin, or glossy black would really tie it all together. I have a silver 17 so I definitely love the silver and black contrast.

The problem with plastidip or paint on chrome, it'll eventually chip and look terrible. Just the other day, I saw a dodge with a bunch of chrome poking through the black paint or dip. Plastidip also gets dirty and looks awful after no time at all. The SR bezel is made of the black plastic. You only have to do it once and it'll look that way forever. It's pretty cheap too and only takes 20 minutes or so to swap out..

Mine has been on for over a year, through a salty winter, plenty of flying rocks and crap, and many washes with a direct power washer. And it still looks like the day I did it. I’d rather use raptor liner or something, but I am seriously surprised at how well the plasti dip has held up.

Subtle update, but looking better. SR5 black grill trim ring swap and BD fog lights installed.

18 grilles look substantially better with the chrome ring gone. Rig is looking good!
