This is my first post, so you're all welcome to chirp me if that's what you need to do

My question is, how big of tires can I put on my 2018 TRD sport without lifting it? I can't lift without voiding the warranty as it has all the cameras and radar and stuff. That doesn't bother me really as I like the hight of it for now anyway. I do want to put mt tires on it though and would like to get the biggest I can comfortably get away with. Anyone here have any experience doing this?

    Thanks

    Welcome.

So a lift won’t void the warranty and those that have lifted their Tacomas with TSS have had the dealers recalibrate everything. Some dealers are more resistant than others.

I don’t recall the largest tire size but we get threads like this daily.

However someone should be able to chime in. Otherwise you can try using the search bar at the top right.

I have tried searching this, but it doesn't seem to turn up what I'm looking for. The search system for this site seems finiky and I'm not used to it. Any tips of how to use it effectively?

I usually just search tacomaworld on google. Seems to be easier and works better. And as stated above, 265/70/17, about 1 inch larger diameter than stock size.

    265/75/16 (17 for sport)

You could also stuff pizza slicers posted above. Doing that next, looks awesome.

Yes, I verified with dealer before I got my truck leveled. 265/70/17 will fit without lifting or leveling.
As far as the TSS is concerned, the radar will function fine within an 8 inch lift. ( meaning there is an 8 inch leeway) hope I was clear.
And that was by my local dealer. The Toyota dealer in my area puts 3 inch leveling kits on Tacoma and tundras and sell them .
I leveled my truck 3 inch front and 2 inches in the rear, and there was no need to recalibrate the radar. It works fine.

    Happy offroading everyone.

Unfortunately the tires I'm likely going with go from 265/70 to 285/70 or even 285/75

Is 275/70 an odd side or something?

You will rub with 285's. There's a ton of info on this site regarding tire sizes at stock height and rubbing issues. And no, 275's are not an odd size.

Use filters and key words mostly. When I search I select "title only" and "this forum only" when in the 3rd gen section.Largest Tire.jpg

Where did you get such an detailed scale model of a 3rd gen? Or is it an r/c truck?

If that's an RC truck where do we get scaled grass?

hobby store, the rock's texture combined with the background being so blurry was what made me think it is all a model
