What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

TRD Pro 4Runner wheels installed today. Also recently plastidipped the fender flares and front chin.

 

Hey sorry for that, have a good idea for a replacement. Inside the bumper winch, bumper by TJM. Smittybuilt 10,000 lbs synthect rope winch, with
wireless remote. Flip up license plate holder too! All steel. No more damage to your truck, but will have to replace the Mrs. bumper instead!

 

Fender flares...check. Oh and got the tsb ecu reflash...holy mother of god...from Tacoma to tacomaro!!!! That is the way the truck should have shipped. Shifts way smother too...Night and day difference....kinda feel bad for everyone now who has bought the ov tune, pedal commander, shift sense pro (which I have one of) etc etc.

 

Any cutting of the sheet metal required?

 

No sheetmetal. Just the plastic bumper trim. They give you templates for both sides. Not very difficult. Did it myself.

Thanks to @YachterSteve I can no longer be mistaken for a Duke Blue Devils fan. While I was swapping devil heads I derped my black chrome sport grill. I left the chrome ring to tie in with the polished DH. Anodized blue DH will go up buy/sell area soon.

 

Just got mine in the mail and will be doing this next week looks like a very clean install

 

how long did it take to install them? I assume some frustration came along with it?

@joeyswear less than an hour and a half, not much frustration surprisingly! Luckily my buddy had done this to his 16 TRD which gave us the advantage for install.

Just be cautious where you route the securing ties underneath the seats and avoid any wires or sharp metal. Install the headrests covers while the headrests are in place, once on then remove the headrest and finish.

Your going to be surprised on how simple and painless this process. It certainly did help having a an extra set of hands to help pull the leather.
