Pac SWI-JACK Wiring Help Needed

I've searched this site as well as the internet, but can't find the answer I am looking for. I'm installing an Alpine CDA-117 into my '10 Tacoma, and it would be a breeze except for the crappy instructions that come with the PAC SWI-JACK.

Everywhere I look, the instructions refer to pins 6, 7, and 8. My problem is figuring out which pins those are because they show a picture of a 20 pin connector:

but my stereo, truck and aftermarket wiring kit are all 2 separate connectors, not the 20 pin connector in the instructions.

One of them is a 12 pin, and the other is an 8 pin, so combined they add up to 20, but I'm not sure which one would be 'first' in the sequence.
Does anyone know what color the wires are on the Scosche wiring kits for pins 6,7 and 8? This would make the instructions a lot easier to follow.

Or, am I on the wrong track altogether and it is referring to a 3rd harness somewhere? I don't see any 20 pin harnesses anywhere that attach to the stereo.

It is a very thorough thread , but it just took me awhile to find the one small piece of info that I needed (my fault for rushing through it).

It is indeed a third connector/harness, and it is a 20 pin connector, just as the original instructions state. For some reason I missed it at first.

So, just in case anyone else is having the same problem, here is the answer to my wiring color question, taken from that thread:

 

Sorry I saw your post late or I could have chimed in. The SWI-Jack is indeed a little tricky to find the correct information on. I spent about an hour getting it installed and programmed.
